Therapies

Localized Cryotherapy is a focused, non-invasive treatment that applies controlled cold temperatures to specific areas of the body to reduce pain, inflammation, and promote rapid healing. Unlike whole-body cryotherapy, this therapy treats only the affected region—making it ideal for injury recovery, skin rejuvenation, and chronic pain management. Benefits : >Pain Relief & Inflammation Control – Helps in arthritis, sports injuries, tendonitis, and muscle soreness. >Faster Recovery – Promotes tissue healing post-injury, surgery, or intense workouts. >Skin Tightening & Glow – Boosts collagen production, improves skin firmness, reduces puffiness and redness. >Localized Fat Reduction Support – Temporarily increases metabolism in treated areas, aiding body contouring. >Improves Mobility – Reduces stiffness in joints and enhances movement in affected areas.

Far Infrared (FIR) therapy uses infrared light waves (wavelengths ~3–100 µm) that penetrate a few centimeters into the body. Unlike visible red light, FIR produces a deep warming effect, improving blood flow and tissue oxygenation. FDA approves FIR for following conditions- Minor muscle and joint pain relief Stiffness Arthritis pain Muscle spasms Improved local blood circulation due to heat. Relaxation of muscles and temporary increase in range of motion.

Red Light Therapy (RLT) is a non- invasive treatment that uses low-wavelength red or near-infrared light to stimulate cellular processes in the body. How it works? The light penetrates the skin and is absorbed by mitochondria (the “powerhouse” of cells). This boosts ATP (cellular energy) production, improving cell function, repair, and regeneration. Unlike UV light, red and near-infrared light does not damage skin or cause tanning/burning. Relief of pain and stiffness associated with: Arthritis Muscle spasms Joint pain Muscle/joint stiffness Improved blood circulation in the treated area. Wound healing support (in certain cleared devices): Non-healing wounds, diabetic ulcers, and pressure ulcers. Hair regrowth in androgenic alopecia (male and female pattern baldness) – Dermatology-related indications: Treatment of mild to moderate acne, reduction of periorbital wrinkles.

PEMF Ion induction therapy is an advancement of classical magnetic field therapy. It uses high-intensity, pulsed electromagnetic fields to specifically stimulate ion movement at the cellular level. The pulses pass safely through the body, interacting with cells, tissues, and bone to enhance repair and reduce inflammation. Unlike Red Light or FIR therapy, PEMF does not use light or heat it’s purely electromagnetic. Non-union bone fractures - FDA cleared in 1979 Post-operative pain and edema (swelling) reduction Certain devices are cleared for adjunctive use after surgery. Urinary incontinence and muscle stimulation in women. Some pelvic floor stimulation PEMF devices are FDA cleared. Treatment of depression and anxiety. Addiction cessation.

Compression therapy applies controlled pressure to the limbs. The pressure improves venous return, lymphatic drainage, and circulation, helping reduce swelling, prevent clotting, and relieve symptoms of poor circulation. Management of chronic venous insufficiency (CVI). Reduces leg swelling, heaviness, and pain. Prevention of deep vein thrombosis (DVT). Especially in post-surgical or immobile patients (intermittent pneumatic compression devices). Treatment of lymphedema. Promotes lymphatic drainage to reduce swelling. Improved circulation in peripheral vascular disease (with certain devices).
